From the first flourish of violins to the final snowfall, over 100 dancers, musicians and stage crew conjure a Victorian Christmas Eve awash with twinkling candles and sugar-dust dreams. Wayne Eagling’s choreography keeps Sir Peter Wright’s classic storytelling while injecting fleet new footwork—Clara vaults through double assemblés, and the Mouse King commands a tumbling corps of acrobats.
