The tour lasts 1.5 hours total and starts at St. Mark's Basilica on Piazza San Marco. You must arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and bring valid photo ID. Dress modestly with covered shoulders and knees as sleeveless tops and shorts are not permitted in the basilica.

Photography and video equipment are strictly prohibited inside St. Mark's Basilica. Large bags, backpacks and non-folding pushchairs cannot be brought inside for security reasons. The basilica offers wheelchair access with some restrictions, but the gondola ride is not wheelchair accessible.
