卡比托利歐博物館每日開放，開放時間一般為上午 9:30 至晚上 7:30。最後入場時間為閉館前一小時。
建議穿著舒適鞋履，因兩間博物館均需長時間步行。
卡比托利歐博物館設有免費衣帽間，可寄存袋及雨傘。

展廳內不得攜帶食物、飲品及玻璃容器。
寵物不得入內，卡比托利歐博物館除外，可攜帶置於寵物袋內的小型犬。
