The Okere Falls Zipline Experience takes you soaring above Rotorua's native forest canopy on four thrilling ziplines spanning 1.2 kilometres. You'll reach speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour as you glide over three dramatic waterfalls, including the spectacular Tutea Falls, the world's highest commercially rafted waterfall at 7 metres high. This eco-focused adventure combines adrenaline with cultural storytelling, as expert Maori guides share traditional knowledge whilst you explore the Ōkere Falls Scenic Reserve from a unique aerial perspective.

Plan Your Visit to Okere Falls Zipline Experience

This 2-hour eco-adventure requires participants to be at least 5 years old and weigh no more than 130 kilograms. No previous ziplining experience is necessary, as expert guides provide comprehensive safety briefings and supervision throughout. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session for check-in and preparation.

Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, which are mandatory for safety on the platforms. Bring a light waterproof jacket as the forest environment can be damp. Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 participants to ensure personalised attention from your guides. All children must be supervised by an adult throughout the experience.
