How It Works
Your digital ticket lets you bypass the vending machines completely. Here's the process:
- Present your ticket at the faregates at either Westlake Center or Seattle Center Station
- Board the next available monorail (trains run every 10 minutes)

- For round-trip tickets, use your return portion within the same day
The monorail operates from 7:30am to 11pm Monday to Friday, and 8:30am to 11pm on weekends. During peak hours, expect fuller carriages as locals use it for commuting.

Both stations and trains are wheelchair accessible with level boarding. Children under five travel free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
The monorail doesn't connect to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. For airport transfers, you'll need alternative transport options. Reduced-fare tickets are only available from station vending machines with valid ID, not through online booking.
