Khao Kheow Open Zoo opens daily from 8am to 5pm, with last admission at 3pm. Plan to spend at least half a day here to see the main animal zones and catch the scheduled shows. The Elephant Show and Penguin Parade are particularly popular, so check the daily schedule upon arrival.

The zoo is located about 45 minutes from central Pattaya by car or taxi. Most areas are wheelchair and stroller accessible, with clean facilities, rest areas and refreshment stalls throughout the grounds. Note that tickets are exclusively for non-Thai passport holders, and outside food and pets are not permitted.
