The trail operates as a one-way route from Ardales to El Chorro, so arrange your return transport accordingly. A shuttle service runs back to the starting point for a small fee. Wear comfortable trekking shoes and bring sunscreen, as parts of the route are exposed. Safety helmets are provided at the entrance. The path is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs due to steep and narrow sections. No toilets or cafes exist along the route, so use facilities before starting.
