• Alcobaça Monastery is open daily except select holidays such as January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25, and municipal holidays.

• Group visits are limited to one hour, and the cloister’s upper floor is closed to the public. Pets are not allowed inside the monastery.

• Lisbon Card must be exchanged at the official redemption point and does not offer fast-track entry to sites.
