Few places on Menorca reward a slower pace quite like Fornells, a whitewashed fishing village on the island's northern coast where the Atlantic-facing tramuntana wind shapes both the landscape and the daily rhythm. The bay here is one of the most sheltered natural inlets in the Balearic Islands, a long, narrow channel of calm turquoise water that cuts several kilometres inland and has made Fornells a destination for sailors and water enthusiasts for generations.
