Getting started

Start your journey at the meeting point near Sydney CBD, where you’ll board a comfortable bus to the Wilton dropzone. On arrival, check in at the desk, meet your licensed instructor and receive a comprehensive safety briefing covering equipment fitting, procedures and what to expect. Your instructor will ensure your harness is secure and answer any questions before you board the aircraft together.

The skydiving experience

• The ascent: The plane climbs steadily to 15000 feet, treating you to panoramic views of Sydney’s coastline and the distant Blue Mountains. Take in the sights as you approach the jump altitude.

• The freefall: With a final check from your instructor, the door opens and you both leap into a 60-second freefall, plummeting at speeds near 200 km/h. The adrenaline rush and unique sensation of flight make this a highlight for any thrill seeker.

• Parachute glide: When the parachute opens, transition to a gentle 5 to 7-minute glide with breathtaking vistas all around. If you're keen, your instructor may let you steer the parachute for a more interactive descent.

• Landing and celebration: After touching down safely, you’ll receive a personalised skydiving certificate, marking your achievement and providing a lasting memory of your daring jump.

All instructors are fully licensed by the Australian Parachute Federation, and every piece of equipment meets rigorous safety standards. Comprehensive briefings ensure you’re informed, confident and comfortable throughout your experience.
