Masquerade Tickets: The Phantom of the Opera Goes Immersive

Masquerade is the world's first fully immersive production of The Phantom of the Opera, featuring Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark score in a multi-story theatrical environment at 218 West 57th Street. Directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus, this production invites audiences to walk through the Paris Opera House, experiencing the music, mystery, and drama from inside the story itself.

The Experience

Audiences enter in small groups, or "pulses," every 15 minutes and move through multiple floors of a custom-designed venue that recreates the world of the Phantom. Rather than sitting in a traditional theater, patrons walk through immersive environments, encountering performers, haze, atmospheric lighting, and the soaring melodies of Lloyd Webber's score in a format designed to make them feel like participants in the story. The production runs approximately two hours.

Masquerade plays multiple performances per week at 218 West 57th Street. Audiences enter in groups every 15 minutes, meaning no two experiences are identical. The show includes atmospheric effects such as haze, strobe lighting, and laser effects. Comfortable shoes are recommended as audiences walk throughout the venue. Not recommended for children under 10.
