Wear clothing that covers shoulders and knees as access may be denied for inappropriate attire at religious sites. Large bags and backpacks are prohibited inside the Chapels, though lockers are available for storage. Photography is not permitted in the Medici Chapels but is allowed in San Lorenzo Church and Medici Palace.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled entry time for security procedures. The tour is wheelchair accessible with ramps and elevators available in both the Medici Chapels and Basilica of San Lorenzo.
