Bali Zoo operates from 9am to 5pm daily, with check-in available until 4pm. Arrive at opening time for the best orangutan breakfast experience, as these morning sessions offer the most active animal interactions. The entire combo experience takes a full day, so plan to spend 6-8 hours at the zoo.

The elephant mud activity requires participants to be over 120cm tall for safety reasons, and there's no childcare service available. Bring swimwear, waterproof sandals, and a complete change of clothes for the muddy elephant encounter. The zoo is wheelchair accessible, though the mud activity is not suitable for those with mobility limitations.
