Plan Your Visit to Te Puia

The guided tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes access to all major sites within Te Puia. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time. The experience is suitable for children, who particularly enjoy the interactive elements of the visit.

Wear comfortable walking shoes as you'll traverse geothermal trails, and bring weather-appropriate clothing since parts of the tour are outdoors. Photography is welcome throughout the site except in the Kiwi Conservation Centre, where it's prohibited to protect the birds. Remember that the Haka performance and Hangi dinner are optional add-ons, not included in the standard ticket unless specifically selected.
