Set your sights on Manhattan from above at the Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center’s renowned observation deck. Explore three distinct levels, each offering awe-inspiring indoor and open-air vistas across New York City. Arriving and getting started

Enter via 50th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues and present your ticket at the will call desk. Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes in advance to allow time for the mandatory security screening. For most visits, no identification is required unless stated on your ticket.

Explore uniquely elevated perspectives

The 67th floor features indoor views and access to interactive displays, perfect for getting oriented and soaking up the cityscape regardless of the weather. On the 69th floor, step outdoors for fresh-air viewing platforms where you can see Midtown and beyond. The topmost 70th floor offers a 360-degree open-air rooftop, delivering unfettered sights across the entire city skyline.

The Beam Experience

Don’t miss the iconic Beam Experience, inspired by the 1932 photograph Lunch atop a Skyscraper. Secure yourself on the steel beam, ascend 12 feet above the deck and gently rotate, all while surrounded by panoramic city views. A professional photo captures you in this thrilling moment, with the skyline as your backdrop — a piece of New York nostalgia blended with present-day exhilaration.

Throughout your visit, staff are on hand to assist with directions, answer questions and help you capture memorable moments. Wheelchair and stroller users can access observation levels, though please note The Beam Experience is not wheelchair accessible. Service animals are welcome throughout the main areas. Large bags and luggage are not permitted inside.
