Flushing, further east along the 7 line, is home to one of the largest Chinese communities outside mainland China and a Koreatown that extends well beyond its nominal boundaries. These are not theme-park versions of cultural neighbourhoods; they are working, residential communities where the food, the signage, and the daily rhythm reflect populations that have been here for generations.
