Loch Ness, Whisky & Outlander Highland Adventure
This comprehensive Highland tour from Inverness combines Scotland's most famous loch with historic battlefields, ancient stone circles, and traditional whisky making. You'll cruise across Loch Ness watching for the legendary monster, explore a medieval castle, visit a working distillery, and walk through sites that inspired the Outlander series.
The tour takes you to Urquhart Castle, a 13th-century fortress perched on Loch Ness shores where medieval battles and clan warfare shaped Scottish history. You'll also visit Culloden Battlefield, site of the final Jacobite rising, and the ancient Clava Cairns stone circles that served as inspiration for Outlander's time travel scenes. The day includes a peaceful lunch stop at historic Beauly Priory in this charming Highland village.
At a traditional Highland distillery, master craftsmen explain the whisky-making process from grain to bottle before you enjoy a guided tasting session of premium single malts. The scenic Loch Ness cruise provides excellent photo opportunities and panoramic views of the surrounding hills and dramatic Scottish landscape.
