Your pass remains valid for 12 months before activation, so you can purchase in advance. Once activated at your first attraction, you have consecutive calendar days to use it. Start early on your first day to maximise value, as many attractions open between 9-10am.

Some experiences like river cruises and certain tours require advance reservations through the Go City app. Popular attractions like Shedd Aquarium tickets can get busy, so consider visiting major museums in the morning and outdoor attractions later in the day. The pass works digitally on your phone, eliminating the need for printed tickets.

Each attraction allows one entry per pass. Child passes cover ages 3-12, whilst children under 3 often enter participating venues free of charge. The pass covers attraction entry only - meals, transport between sites, parking and optional upgrades cost extra.
