Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 5 years old are free to enter the cathedral, but may not be able to fully appreciate the experience.

Know before you go

Before your visit to St Paul's Cathedral, make sure to wear comfortable shoes as you'll be doing a lot of walking. Bring a camera to capture the stunning views from the Golden Gallery, but be aware that photography is not allowed in the Crypt. Plan to arrive early to avoid long queues, and consider purchasing a combined ticket for other nearby attractions. The cathedral is wheelchair accessible, but please note that the Whispering Gallery and Golden Gallery are not. It's also a good idea to check the weather forecast beforehand, as the views from the Golden Gallery are best enjoyed on a clear day.
