Start your journey in Sydney

Your full-day adventure begins at a central Sydney pick-up point, where you will meet your fellow guests and a friendly guide who brings expert knowledge of both the Hunter Valley region and its wine traditions. The day starts with a short orientation, outlining the itinerary and sharing some insights into what makes the Hunter Valley a standout destination for wine lovers.

Travelling to Hunter Valley

Step aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus as you leave Sydney behind and travel through beautiful countryside toward New South Wales’s famous wine district. During your ride, enjoy commentary highlighting Australia’s winemaking story and the unique characteristics of the Hunter Valley’s boutique vineyards.

Wine tastings at boutique estates

The tour visits three to four handpicked boutique wineries. At each stop, you’ll be greeted by knowledgeable staff who will guide your group through a series of curated tastings. Discover the distinct profiles and production styles unique to each estate, with your guide on hand to answer questions and deepen your appreciation of local varietals. Gourmet lunch and cheese platter

Midday, the group makes its way to Cypress Lakes, where a gourmet lunch awaits. Enjoy a fresh selection of artisan baguettes, salads, savoury pies and more. Meals are paired with coffee, tea or a soft drink and accompanied by a cheese platter showcasing some of the region's best local produce. The lunch break is a great time to share impressions with fellow guests and soak up the relaxing ambience of Hunter Valley.

Returning to Sydney

After the final winery visit and plenty of time to explore, the afternoon journey returns to Sydney, stopping at your original pick-up location. You’ll finish the day with an enhanced knowledge of wine, new food pairings to try at home and memories from a social, expertly curated excursion in one of Australia’s premier wine destinations.
