Throughout the 40-minute show, the church’s walls serve as a canvas for 360-degree projections. Van Gogh’s letters—especially those written to his brother Theo—are woven into the narration, immersing you in his creative journey and personal insights, including his admiration for Rembrandt. Visitors can select either English or Dutch audio for their session, allowing for tailored interpretation and storytelling.

Take your time as you explore the space at your own pace. Sit or lounge on provided beanbags for a fully relaxed viewing experience, or wander and observe the visuals from various angles. The show is perfect for solo visitors, couples and families—children under 6 enter free with a paid adult. With flexible entry and open ticket times, you have the freedom to choose your preferred slot onsite.

Noorderkerk, a church that both artists walked through in their lifetimes, enhances the impact of this experience. Accessibility is prioritised with wheelchair and stroller access available. Please note that there are no toilets inside the venue but public facilities are nearby.

• Show duration is approximately 40 minutes

• Open tickets allow you to choose your showtime on the day

• English shows run at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm

• Dutch shows are at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm

• Entry requires a mobile ticket

• Outside food and pets are not permitted; service animals excepted

This experience does not give access to the Van Gogh Museum or Rembrandt House Museum but offers a wholly unique artistic encounter.
