About King Power Mahanakhon
King Power Mahanakhon is a 78-story skyscraper in the Silom district of Bangkok. The building stands 314 meters tall making it one of the tallest buildings in Thailand. The tower opened in 2016 and features a distinctive pixelated facade designed by German architect Ole Scheeren. The observation deck known as Mahanakhon SkyWalk occupies the top floors of the building.
The SkyWalk Experience
The experience begins with a high-speed elevator that travels from ground level to the 74th floor in approximately 50 seconds. The elevator features multimedia screens displaying Bangkok cityscapes during the ascent. The 74th floor features an air-conditioned indoor observation deck with floor-to-ceiling windows offering 360-degree views across Bangkok. You can see the Grand Palace and Wat Pho and Chao Phraya River and Bang Krachao and the Bangkok skyline stretching to the horizon. Interactive displays identify landmarks visible from the observation deck.
From the 74th floor take the glass-sided elevator to the 78th floor outdoor rooftop. The rooftop features the Glass Tray a transparent glass floor section where you can look straight down 314 meters to the street below. The outdoor deck wraps around the building providing unobstructed views in every direction.
Skyverse Digital Experience
The 4th floor houses the Skyverse digital experience. Interactive technology and digital installations showcase Bangkok culture and history. Visit Skyverse before or after your observation deck visit.
SkyBeach Rooftop Bar
Select ticket options include a drink at SkyBeach rooftop bar. Choose from alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. The bar offers seating areas with views over Bangkok.

Mahanakhon SkyWalk: Know Before You Go
Location
King Power Mahanakhon is located at 114 Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra Road in the Silom district of Bangkok. The tower is next to Chong Nonsi BTS station.
Getting There
The nearest station is Chong Nonsi BTS (Silom Line). Take Exit 3 and the building entrance is directly connected to the station. The SkyWalk ticket counter is on the ground floor of King Power Mahanakhon.
Opening Hours
Mahanakhon SkyWalk is open daily from 10am to 7pm. Last admission is approximately 30 minutes before closing. Sunset tickets allow entry between 4pm and 7pm with last admission at 6:30pm.
Entry Requirements
Bring your mobile ticket or printed ticket. No ID is required for entry. All visitors pass through security screening and bag checks before entering the elevator lobby.
Age Requirements
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 20 or above. There is no minimum age for entry.
Dress Code
Covered shoes are required throughout your visit. No bare feet are permitted. Smart casual dress is appropriate.
Glass Tray
The Glass Tray on the 78th floor rooftop is a transparent glass floor. It is safe to walk on. Visitors with a fear of heights may prefer to stay on the indoor observatory floor. The Glass Tray may close temporarily in wet weather for safety.
Weather
The 78th floor rooftop is outdoors and exposed to the elements. The rooftop and Glass Tray may close temporarily during rain or strong winds. If the rooftop is closed after you have visited the indoor observatory you may request re-entry at the ticket counter but refunds are not available.
Photography
Photography is permitted throughout Mahanakhon SkyWalk. Tripods and professional camera equipment are not permitted. Drones are not permitted.
Accessibility
Mahanakhon SkyWalk is wheelchair accessible. Elevators provide access to all observation levels. Accessible restrooms are available. Assistance dogs are welcome. Inform staff on arrival if you require assistance.
Bags and Luggage
Small bags are permitted. Large luggage is not allowed inside the observation deck. There is no luggage storage at the venue. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
