What is Vegas! The Show about?

Vegas! The Show opens in the "Neon Boneyard", the resting place of the old signs that once lit up the city's landmark hotels. Their caretaker, Ernie, brings the boneyard back to life, and showgirls, singers, dancers and a live big band join him for a musical journey through the decades of Las Vegas entertainment, with elaborate costumes and big production numbers along the way.

Is Vegas! The Show a tribute show?

Vegas! The Show pays homage to the legends who built the city's reputation, including the Rat Pack, Elvis, Gladys Knight & The Pips and Tom Jones, but it is not an impersonator show. Instead of lookalikes, the cast celebrates their music and the style of the classic Vegas showgirl, so it suits anyone who wants a taste of old-school Las Vegas showmanship.

Who created Vegas! The Show?

Vegas! The Show was written by producer and theater owner David Saxe, who grew up backstage in Las Vegas. His mother was a showgirl in the Folies Bergere, and his father was a saxophone player and bandleader for the Rat Pack. He dreamed of putting the story of Las Vegas on stage for more than 20 years, and the show is his way of keeping that legacy alive.

How long is Vegas! The Show, and what time does it start?

Vegas! The Show runs for 75 minutes. Performances are at 5:30pm Monday to Saturday, with added Sunday performances on holiday weekends and some performances at 7pm. The early start makes it easy to see the show and still have the whole evening free for dinner or a second show.

Is Vegas! The Show suitable for kids?

Yes, all ages are welcome at Vegas! The Show. It is a classic showgirl revue that families can see together, and the early curtain suits younger visitors too.

Where is the Saxe Theater in Las Vegas?

The Saxe Theater is inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, at 3663 South Las Vegas Boulevard, in the middle of the Strip. The theater is within the shopping mall rather than on the street, so leave a few extra minutes to find it before the show starts.

Where should you sit for Vegas! The Show?

The best seats for Vegas! The Show are in the VIP section, the front rows closest to the stage, where you get the full sparkle of the costumes and choreography. General Admission seats are further back, so they suit anyone who would rather keep the cost down and take in the whole stage from a distance.

At the Saxe Theater, the VIP section curves around the stage in three blocks, a center section and two sides, covering rows A to L. General Admission is a raised block behind it, set to one side, covering rows M to X. Your ticket covers Vegas! The Show only, even though other shows play in theaters in the same shopping complex, so if you are booking as a group, book everyone together.
